announces a competition for the position of an English language teacher (2 jobs)
in the group of teaching staff
in the Department of Foreign Languages and Humanities and Social Sciences
Description of tasks in the position:
General English classes;
Conducting specialist English classes;
Organizational work for the unit and the university;
other, resulting from the profile and nature of the unit.
Requirements for the candidate:
The competition may be entered by persons who meet the conditions set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended) and in § 62 of the Statute of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław.
have a master's degree in English philology,
have experience in working as a teacher,
show documented participation in training (internships, courses) increasing professional qualifications, which will be assessed in terms of their suitability for work at SJOiNHS,
have knowledge of the methodology of teaching foreign languages,
show full availability and readiness to work in full-time and part-time studies of all degrees in various fields of UPWr,
have knowledge of the European System for the Description of Language Education (CEFR / CEFR) and the ability to develop profiled courses,
have experience in conducting general language classes,
have experience in conducting classes using distance learning techniques,
have experience in translating texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish and readiness to translate texts for the university. Experience in consecutive interpreting is a great advantage.
experience in foreign cooperation will be an additional advantage.
